Epicutis formulations are developed around three essential principles: safety, efficacy, and ethical responsibility. The line is Environmental Working Group (EWG) Verified®, a distinction that reflects strict standards for ingredient safety and transparency—something I value highly when recommending products for daily use.

From a clinical standpoint, these products meet a wide range of patient needs. They are safe for pregnancy and nursing, appropriate for oncology patients, non-comedogenic, and suitable for even highly sensitive skin types. Additionally, they are vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and free from sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, and dyes. They are not tested on animals and are responsibly sourced and produced.

Epicutis is also compliant with California Proposition 65 and approved for use in the European Union, which often enforces stricter ingredient regulations than the U.S.—another layer of reassurance in terms of safety standards.
